Thanks. I was kinda bored when I designed the first one, so I decided to make an X-Man costume for Kaala. I remembered how most of the women were showing some skin, so I added the cut outs. However, if no one ever adds anything, we may never get to find out about any of it. Come on, guys! Don't be afraid. We won't laugh at you. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif maybe a little, but it's all good natured.

Ok, ok, ok! Here goes nothing (very long). I figured we'd have to add a few bad guys in for action (this was supposed to be in Madrid, right? Let's say we've got exchange students, huh?) By the way, could anybody tell more about Kaala's character, her powers, and personality?
---
Angelina Marie Keeler huddled near the entrance of the room, silently straining to catch the conversation of her two neighbors in the adjacent bathroom. Kaala?s friend, Scarlet, had tried her best to calm Kaala down and keep quiet, and despite the fact that most everyone in the apartment floor as out that evening, Angelina had chosen to stay. She?d figure she?d catch some sleep after the streneous week at work. Then, she?d heard the clamor of her neighbors a short while ago. Firmly pressing your ear to the wall, and with the help of the almost still silence in the other rooms, it was impressive how much you could hear. Thank goodness she?d caught a few distinguishable words: ?mutant?, ?help?, ?don?t tell?, ?calm down?, ?quiet?. Not a good sign. A mutant next door? She wasn?t particularly fond of Kaala, and this was just the event to confirm her dislike of the girl even further. Perfect.
Silently, she made her way on all fours towards her purse on the other side of the room, and took out her cell phone. She had to act fast, there was no telling what could happen, and Kaala?s powers didn?t exactly sound particularly safe. It had not been more than two months ago that she had attended the 1st seminar. Her buddies had hooked her up with the organization, as soon as they?d found out her mom was active in the community fundraising cookie sales back home. It?d taken a while for her to find contacts in this new place, you had to be careful that no mutants infiltrated the organization. But the seminar had been informative. She?d hit it off quite well with the others. So much so, like other new arrivals, she had eventually attained the role of watcher. Watchers were important, most of them being in the 12-21 age range, the range most likely to come in contact with ?manifesting mutants?, but older watchers were not uncommon either. Watchers where to contact the organization upon any suspicious occurrence. From there on, the proper action would be taken to handle the new suspect. The system was quite well thought out, arising as separate, individual community ?clubs? throughout the land as a result of the public?s worry of the mutant problem, and the unsatisfaction concerning how the government was handling it. Nonetheless, the organization was well supported (some authorities were also members), and fundraising was no problem.
The phone dialed, and after the second ring a gruff, deep hardy male voice answered: ?Hola? --?. Angelina interrupted: ?Hola, sir, this is Angelina Keeler, from last week?s seminar?? ?Why yes, Miss Keeler, so nice to hear from you again. Can I help you in some way?? ?Uhm, I'm so sorry, while preparing the cookies for the next meeting, I realized the oven was broken. Do you know of anybody that can fix it?? There was a silence of acknowledgement, and when the man replied, his voice was calm, but a slight tinge of appreciation and excitement mixed with his accent could be felt: ?Don?t worry Sen~orita, where are you?? ?Home, in my dorm, in the room next to the oven?(he knew where she and the other watchers assigned to him lived) ?Very well, miss. Hang on there. Help is on the way. Wait for us at the entrance of the apartment.? With that, he hanged up. Wonderful, the code had worked perfectly, they?d be here in a few minutes. If only the Mutant Rights sympathisers didn't complicate things so much.

Yellow is fine. That was just a rough sketch of my idea, so that sounds fine.

Well, I see her as being outgoing, but slightly afraid of what she is. Fairly carefree and nice, somewhat sarcastic if she is angry. I'm not sure where her powers are going, so I'll just try it here:
Kaala brushed a strand of her red forehead locks out of her face, then breathed deeply. "Just when I think I can control it, Scarlet, it goes off and does its own thing. I never even knew what hit me."
Scarlet nodded slowly. "It's hard to accept. But unless you accept it, you can never control it." She patted her friend's back. "Hang in there."
Kaala smiled up at her. The darkness seemed to lift out of her violet eyes for a second and her eyes appeared to be a totally different color. "Right. I'm the big, strong mutant. I never get sick." The black markings on her face stood out against her pale skin.
"Something like that," Scarlet said. "I still expect to get a new shirt for the one you ruined."
Kaala rolled her eyes, remembering the first time she had discovered the 'sword' she could summon with her powers. The obsidian looking blade was made from her powers, and she had failed to realize how powerful it was. When she had tried to will it back into her self, she had accidentally taken half of Scarlet's wardrobe with it. Usually the things that disapeared into the shadows resurfaced after after a short period of time. For some reason Kaala's favorite t-shirt --- the one with the anime elf on the front --- along with Scarlet's shirt, had never seemed to exit the shadows. Usually, Kaala could absorb something into her shadows, including herself, and exit from a shadow nearby. For some reason, these shirts had never returned.
"Ready to go?" Scarlet asked.
Kaala smiled quickly, her beautiful face brightening. "Bien, mi amiga."

"Let me just get someone real quick." Scarlett said, walking into the kitchen and taking out a leash from the draw. About two seconds later, a beautiful grey wolf came running out of her room and into the kitchen. The wolf's name was Naomi and she was very protective of Kaala and Scarlett. She was one of the many animals Scarlett usually had in the apartment. Hey, Kaala wasn't the only mutant there, Scarlett was one as well. She had a telepathic link with animals.
"Do you want to talk to Naomi or Angel for a few minutes? They can be very good listeners." Scarlett said, just as a beautiful golden eagle came flying into the room and pirched on Scarlett's shoulder.

hard? Naw, just pick someone that really gets on your nerves and use them for a model http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
-----
As Kaala and Scarlet had finished gathering themselves, there was a knock on the door. Scarlet cast a worried glance to Kaala. Kaala made a move for the door, but Scarlet held out her hand in a motion to stop, with a determined, confident expression (though she did not know whether this was more to confort herself rather than her friend). Scarlet turned and inched her way towards the door.
"Quien es? [who is it?]", she asked to the top of her voice.
"Vengo a arreglar el horno de la cocina, sen~orita. Perdone la molestia, pero me puede sen~alar donde esta? [I come to fix the oven in the kitchen, miss. I apologize for bothering, but may you please show me were it is?]"
Scarlet relaxed, cast a quick reassuring smile at Kaala, and openned the door, still a bit shaken herself from her friend's episode, overlooking the fact that the gentleman would have been escorted by some authority of the building. Kaala's cheeks, usually a healthy rosebud pink, turned pale again, as she stood on the other side of the room.

Ok, people, that was horrible. Please, somebody, write something http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif. I'll go hide in a corner.

"Just let me get somone." Scarlett, walking into the kitchen and pulling a leash from out of one of the draws. About two seconds later, a beautiful gray wolf named Naomi came running into the room. Kaala wasn't the only mutant there, Scarlett was one as well. She had a telepathic link with aniamls.
"Do you want to speak to Naomi for a few minutes? She's a very good listener."

This will not die with my name on it. I forbid it! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
Kaala reached down and absently stroked Naomi on her head. "I'll be fine," she assured Scarlett with the wry smile that came so easily to her face.
Scarlett smiled back and moved to open the door for the men outside. "Hang in there," she said. "Control's not easy, but it will come."
Not soon enough Kaala thought to herself. She almost laughed out loud, then shook her head, grinning widely. She knelt next to Naomi and burried her face in the wolf's musky, gray fur. "I don't know why that's so damn funny, but it is," she mumbled, shaking her head from side to side. Her long black hair fell into her face.
Scarlett started laughing as well, tears almost streaming down her face. "Estas comica, mi amiga," You are funny, my friend.
"?Abra la puerta!" the men outside demanded sharply. Too sharply, it seemed.
"Es apenas un horno roto," Scarlett yelled to them, shaking her head.
